It used to be that there was nothing but time and darkness. It went on perpetually, the very essence of forever pulled into a lightless, cold path. And suddenly things changed, as the entity of Time became conscious, and felt the pulling need of Universe; the two collided in a brilliant burst of light, and their kingdom was born, along with their five children. These children were precious to the two gods, and therefore they, too, were given a kingdom to share, a planet called Transmundane.
The firstborn god helped his siblings to create life there, for the creation of mortals was impossible lest all five combined their powers. Afterward, he faded into the dim memories of his siblings -- Undine, Sorixan, Hollix, and Rancourel. As the gods hated each other, the mortal wolves designed in their essence slowly grew to hate the species aligned under a rival god, and a very careful balance was created. Although they've never bothered to conceal their hatred for each other, the mortals forced themselves to exist in a harmony of sorts. If this balance became disrupted, it could mean the end; if a single God takes victory over his brothers and lone sister, then his first act would be to destroy the opposing elements, and the world would be thrown to the waiting jaws of Grandmother Chaos.
For the first time, however, things have begun to change. Undine, god of the sea, has slowly been gaining more power, and with it his unadulterated malice toward his siblings has nearly flared into an all-out war. The wolves of earth, flora, and air watch their step these days, though most welcome the idea of a battle and claiming what they believe to be their own kind's rightful title as the supreme race. And now there is you. What do you choose, underling? Will you fight for the glory of your god? Will you slink about like a coward, fearful of the growing tremors and constant wolf-swallowing waves? Perhaps you seek to settle your own goals in life, overtaking your pack by storm -- as alpha, you'd be the closest one to your god, and that would sit well with you, wouldn't it? The world could end with you, stranger. Now we only have one question -- will you turn tail, or will you fight?
